Confession: I am out of persuasive words to persuade Democrats to vote Democrat on November 4th

In fact, this meme is an accurate depiction of how I am feeling today:

FACE PALM!

As tempting as it is to remind everyone of the burning GOP desire to dismantle the United States of America and to recreate it as a Theocratic Ayn Rand 50-Sovereign State Fantasy World on our land, I’m not going to do that. In fact, I am going to work hard to resist giving the ignorant, the haters and the liars of the GOP one drop of ink today.

What I am going to do, as we move into the last weeks before the November 4th Election, is remind Democrats that Democrats have a Party Platform and ALL Democrats ~ who stand and declare themselves to be Democrats, at any rate ~ signed on to it.

Please, do not take this the wrong way as I find all issues that move us forward progressively to be important I just think we need to stop and take a deep breath and Get Out The Vote and Vote to make sure we have partners in positions of power we can work with as we do move forward or IF we do move forward, whichever the case may be.

Voting is happening now in a whole lot of places!

 So, for just a few weeks, it is time to stop using time and energy on one issue causes like:

The President didn’t close GITMO; The President supports the XKL pipeline, The President promised an Executive Order re immigration reform, the delayed it; The President is not doing what arm chair experts in National Security think he should be doing ~  just to name a few one issue issues floating around out there, sooooo …  with wishes left unfulfilled  staying home  on the 4th is the only option some think they have. We've seen it before.

From now until November 5th, my response to that is:

But this election is way  too important to just leave it at that, so let me add to the meme:

It is total, absolute BS – unless, of course, one truly does not understand how our system works; one truly do not understand GOP nullification of our President and our votes; one truly believes one will just be marking time until he or she  can get his or her yet to be declared yet favorite candidate into the Oval Office in 2016 or; One truly believes we can do better under a GOP regime.

 Only you know the answer to that ^^^ I’m just suggesting:

Review the information provided by the source;

Research the candidates who will appear on your 2014 ballot, as well as the voting rules and locations that may have changed since you last voted;

Make a decision based on information gathered and assessed;

VOTE!

I trust if one does that, one will have no choice but to go to the polls on the 4th and vote a straight democratic ticket.

 Below is an outline excepted from the 2012 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL PLATFORM MOVING AMERICA FORWARD  ~  “ …  -- a declaration of how we plan to move America forward over the next four years and beyond  …  “ :

Okay. It is your nickel so spend it as you see fit. Oh, but, please, keep in mind that elections have consequences that affect all of us …
